ASASSN-16js: stage A superhumps?

Berto Monard and Josch Hambsch have reported
further observations. The object showed growing
superhumps on Sep. 9-11. The period during
this interval was 0.06151(1) d. If this period
is that of stage A superhumps, the fractional
excess 0.019 corresponds to q=0.05.
The period after this stage has been poorly
determined (gap in observations; we may have not
received full data) but the period appears to be
0.06088 d, close to that of early superhumps.
This may be a consequence of the pressure effect
combined with small q, but this interpretation
needs to be tested by longer observations.
Please continue observing this likely period bouncer.
