Dear colleagues,

I have just concluded the analysis of my 2017, Apr 09/10 unfiltered CCD
photometry session of CRTS J080941.3+171528. Observations were made at CBA
Belgium Observatory, using a 0.40-m /f10.0 telescope and STT-3200ME CCD
camera, under clear skies with strong moonlight.
The resulting light curve clearly shows the presence of large superhumps
with an amplitude of 0.38 mag. A period analysis using the ANOVA,
Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso), yields a combined preliminary
superhump period of 0.0997 +/- 0.0016d, hence establishing this object as a
new SU UMa-type dwarf nova. The object was at mag 15.5 (unfiltered) on Apr
09th.

Observations will be sent to CBA and VSNET for further analysis.

Best regards
Tonny
