According to Rod Stubbings, BD Pav is in outburst. PAVBD 060829.517 128 Stu.RASNZ outburst This object is a long-period UGSS-type dwarf nova with shallow eclipses. Outbursts are relatively rare (this brightness is usually reached once in a year). Follow-up observations (including eclipse observations) might be useful.
