According to Woudt et al., 2004, MNRAS, 351, 1015(astro-ph/0403435),
SDSS J1556 during quiescence shows a periodic modulation with a period of
0.07408 days. If this period corresponds to the orbital period,
a superhump period candidate of 0.07733(9) days may be a true superhump
period.
But superhump maximum timings from our data suggest that the true
period is 0.08377(10) days.

Further time-series observations are encouraged.
