Dear all,

Gianluca Masi and Nakajima-san have reported further time-series
photometry. On Aug 16, the amplitude of the modulation became slightly
lower, but the object now shows stronger waves. The variation on
initial two nights were reasonably expressed by the orbital period,
while the current variation shows clear offset from the orbital phasing.
The best period determined from observations after Aug 15.8 was
0.1004(4) d, about 1% longer than the orbital period.
This "superhump" signal is apparently still growing and the above
period is preliminary. We should see within a day or so fully grown
superhumps with a more stable period.

The earlier suggestion of fading trend was most likely due to
atmospheric extinction. The extinction-corrected values show a
smooth decline characteristic to a superoutburst near maximum.
