Rumour has reached me that this thing is to get attention from "grown up scopes" in terms of further study, and also satellite observatories' time too.

Unfortunately, I'm not too sure on the details as I wasn't actually paying much attention, and a similar situation is occuring with the current omega CMa outburst, so my memory will likely have gotten confused between the two situations.

Whatever the case, filtered photometry tucked away in arxiv somewhere may well be timely for future studies of this thing.
