For all those who rally to the cry of "time series strongly encouraged" on this here list, a PASJ special looks to be due, given a fresh astro-ph that's just cropped up, which should reassure them that something is actually done with all this touted for data that they dutifully provide upon request

233 pages and 222 figures, it says. That's nigh on a figure a page.

Not so long ago on another list somewhat farther away there were some amateurs having a good old whine (as opposed to wine) about not getting their just due re credit for all there contributions and all that. Not many, just the usual suspects.

Well, the above paper looks to adequately include every single cataclysmically varying, eccentrically superhumping, time series photometrising 'scope and CCD owning amateur astronomising individual in the known universe to three sigma. At least.

In other words, it looks like full gratitude is expressed for people's data contributions via inclusion of their names on the paper.

Ya can't have much fairer than that.

Not that I've had chance to read it yet, the abridged abstract was long enough... ...I shall have to read it sometime, mindst, just to see how UGWZ is defined in this instance.

PS I fully expect to see it shoved on various blogs with "mother of all..." prefix afore very long. Well, I would if I bothered to take note of the things. Remember, if it's been mentioned on blogs, it must be true. Maybe some can read it and summarise it on a blog or three, save me 230 pages of reading.
