EK TrA superhump period

We have received observations from Peter Nelson. The subsequent data
confirmed the early evolution of superhumps. The object showed regular
well-developed superhumps since July 16. The mean superhump period has
been 0.064845(5) d. This period is significantly longer than the 2007
period (cf. vsnet-alert 11346). After examining the original data,
it has become evident that the 2007 observation referred to the late
stage of the superoutburst ("stage C superhumps" persisting even after
the rapid fading; cf. suggestion in vsnet-alert 9414 now confirmed by
ASAS-3 data).
The present period 0.064845(5) d should be regarded as the representative
superhump period ("stage B superhumps"). Further observations are expected
to clarify a stage B-C transition.
