V1454 Cyg: superhumps (delay in growth)

Ian Miller has reported observations of V1454 Cyg. On August 8-9,
the amplitude of (super)humps was still very small (0.02 mag in average).
The recorded variation may have been either growing superhumps or
some kind of early superhumps. A similar delay in the evolution of
superhumps was also recorded during the 2006 superoutburst.
(During the first seven days, the superhump signal was very weak.
cf. arXiv:0905.1757). The subsequent evolution during the 2006
superoutburst was unusual in that the plateau stage did not last
very long despite the delay in the appearance. Given this peculiarity,
this object warrants further intensive observations. Further time-resolved
photometry is encouraged.
