[vsnet-alert 11814] V1647 Ori outburst

Dear Colleagues,

the variable star V1647 Ori (the star involved with the McNeil nebula) 
is in outburst again. I found it in this state on Feb. 4 and follow-up 
photometry provided the following estimates:

Feb 4.876: 15.6
Feb 8.757: 15.6
Feb 12.741: 15.4

This is unfiltered photometry, with R mags used for the reference stars.
