[vsnet-alert 12582] Re: possible new object?

Dear Colleagues,

remotely using the 14" telescope unit, part of the Virtual
Telescope Project (Ceccano, Italy), I confirmed this object.
Using an image scale of 0.62"/pixel, I get the following end
figures for the position:

RA: 59.93 sec;  Decl: 58.7" (J2000.0: mean residuals of
0.2"; based on 182 reference stars, from NOMAD).

I also get an unfiltered (R-dominated) magnitude of 14.1 on
Jan 09.76819.
