Dear All,
the HST observations of HS2214+2845=V513 Peg went
well, this CV contains a moderately hot white dwarf
(as expected), all in all resembling the prototype U Gem.
Your monitoring was once again crucial to get these
observations approved!
Next week's target is
OTJ213806.6+261957 Jul 25, 2013 17:26:50 to 21:05:23
As mentioned in one of my last mails, this one has
a nearby cool visual companion that is somewhat brighter
than the CV in V, and dominates at longer wavelengths.
Please report the combined magnitude for both stars, as
it will be very difficult to resolve them.
After OTJ213806.6+261957, there will be a long break:
the next and final three targets (BB Ari, SDSS0137-0912,
and SDSS1006+2337) are not well placed for
ground-based monitoring ... which, coincidentally,
provides all of us with a well-deserved summer holiday.
Best wishes,
Boris
