[vsnet-alert 21887] MASTER OT J024850.29+401449.5: new SU UMa type dwarf nova - updated suprhump period

Dear colleagues,

I have just concluded the analysis of my 2018, Feb 17/18 unfiltered CCD photometry session of MASTER OT J024850.29+401449.5. Observations were made at CBA Belgium Observatory,  using a 0.40-m f/10.0 telescope and STT-3200ME CCD camera, under a clear sky . The resulting light curve clearly shows the presence of superhumps with an amplitude of 0.16 mag. Combining my observations with the ones I obtained yesterday, I made a period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso). It yields an updated superhump period of 0.0604 +/- 0.0024d. The object was at mag 16.95 (unfiltered) on Feb 17th.  

 

Observations will be sent to AAVSO, CBA and VSNET for further analysis.
