Dear colleagues,

I have just concluded the analysis of my 2019, Jul 02/03 unfiltered CCD photometry session of ASASSN-19qq. Observations were made at CBA Belgium Observatory, using a 0.40-m f/10.0 telescope and SBIG STT-3200ME CCD camera, under clear skies (with some clouds).

The resulting light curve clearly shows the presence of superhumps with an amplitude of 0.27 mag, hence classifying this object as a new SU UMa-type dwarf nova. A period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso), yields a combined superhump period of 0.0598 +/- 0.0003d. The object was at mag 16.0 (CV) on Jul 02nd.

I will send my observations to AAVSO, CBA and VSNET for further analysis.

Follow-up observations are recommended.

Best regards
Tonny
