Dear colleagues,

I have just concluded a first analysis of my 2019, Jul 03/04 unfiltered CCD photometry session of OT J162717.0+040559 (aka PNV J16271698+0405590). Observations are currently ongoing at CBA Belgium Observatory, using a 0.40-m f/10.0 telescope and SBIG STT-3200ME CCD camera, under very clear skies.

The resulting light curve clearly shows the presence of early superhumps with a very large amplitude of nearly 0.7 mag, hence classifying this object as a new WZ Sge-type dwarf nova. A period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso), yields a combined superhump period of 0.0621 +/- 0.0011d. The object was at mag 13.8 (CV) on Jul 03rd.

I will send my observations to AAVSO, CBA and VSNET for further analysis.

Follow-up observations are evidently highly recommended.

Best regards
Tonny
