[vsnet-alert 8684] TT Ari: recovery or DN-type outburst?

   The most recent ASAS data indicate that TT Ari brightened
a bit.  Although this may suggest a recovery from the current
fading, it might also be a dwarf nova-type disk-instability
outburst (rarely seen in VY Scl-type stars) when the
mass-transfer rate is reduced.  Further dense observations
are very strongly encouraged.
