[vsnet-alert 8789] Ha 0242-2802 brightened

Ha 0242-2802, a CV usually evolving between magnitudes 18 and 19
(unfiltered) was detected here tonight at CBA Pretoria at the elevated
magnitude of approx 15.8.

Timeseries photometry have been started under rather unreliable weather
conditions. It is hoped that sufficient data will be collected to reveal
signs of eventual s/humps present in the light curve.
