The SU UMa-type dwarf nova AQ Eri is in outburst.
The last superoutburst was in 2006 Feb - Mar (max 12.8).
Although the present outburst is seemingly faint, the
very favorable location would encourage time-series
photometry if the outburst turns out to be a superoutburst.
The "literal" value of the supercycle is 300 d, making
the present outburst not too premature for another
superoutburst.
