IAUC 8803 reports the discovery of a nova in Sco by H.Nakamura
(Mie, Japan) and Y.Sakurai (Ibaraki, Japan).
The position of this nova obtained by K.Kadota is R.A=16h57m41s.24,
Decl.=-32o20'35".8 (J2000).
A low-dispersion spectrum obtained by H. Naito and S. Narusawa 
(Nishi-Harima Astronomical Observatory) suggests that this object
is a classical nova near maximum light.
