V455 And: (super?)humps and eclipses on Sep 27

Itoh-san has just reported high-quality data taken on Sep 27.
The data clearly show humps (reaching 0.8 mag in largest full
amplitude, 0.6 mag in average) and eclipses. The hump maxima were
located around eclipse phase -0.1. The eclipses were sharp.
The occurrence of humps at this phase accompanied by sharp eclipses
is similar to what we have seen during the superhump plateau.
A comparison with observations with other nights suggest that
superhumps still persisted with expected phase variation in relation
to eclipses, but the identification should await analysis of
further observations since the observed humps were not incompatible
with orbital humps (the most striking difference was seen in
the light curve on Sep 25, with broader, less prominent humps and
broad eclipses which are now more unambiguously identified).

Such seemingly "enhanced" superhump light variation during the
later course of a superoutburst was observed during the 1999
superoutburst of V2051 Oph and the 2001 superoutburst
of WZ Sge (the latter having been discussed in the context of
an enhanced hot spot or the superhump light source, cf. Osaki and
Meyer 2003, A&A 401, 325).

Further observations are naturally very strongly encouraged.
