GW Lib: Summary of this season's obs. with KANATA
It is now hard to monitor GW Lib at Higashi-Hiroshima observatory.
At the end of the season for the great outburst, we put the V- and
J-band light curves and the color (V-J) evolution to date at:
http://kanatatmp.blogspot.com/search/label/GW%20Lib
More than 100 days have past since the rapid fading from the
superoutburst, the object is still gradually fading.
The color is now almost constant at V-J~0.65.
A remarkable feature is V-J colors just after the rapid fading
(V-J~1.2), which are significantly redder than the recent ones.
Since the object has recently been almost at quiescence,
there should have been a redder and brighter source just after
the fading compared with those of the quiescent disk.
This red phase, thus, indicates not only a low temperature,
but also a large size of an accretion disk.
Such a strange disk may be responsible for the long-lived
late superhumps (cf. [vsnet-alert 9392] etc.).
