A rare superoutburst ----- QY Per

QY Per (RA = 03h15m36s.8, Dec = +42d28'15")
P. A. Dubovsky and P. Schmeer reported a rare outburst of an
SU UMa-type dwarf nova, QY Per (14.13V at Oct 21.228). the object
was fainter than 18.2CR on Oct 13. The most recently recorded
outburst (a supermaximum) started between 1999 Dec. 23 and 28
(vsnet-campaign 1627, vsnet-alert 8729, 8730). A. Imada reported a
detection of superhumps on Oct 23 (vsnet-campaign-dn 4560, 4561).
YY Her (RA = 18h14m34s.2, Dec = +20d59'21")
L. Smelcer reported an outburst of YY Her. The object was V=13.01
on Oct 11, then brightened to V=12.48 on Oct 22 (vsnet-alert 8732,
vsnet-campaign-symbio 114).
OJ 287 (RA = 08h51m57s, Dec = 20d17'59")
OJ 287 is now bright (R~13.7). M. Villata announced that their
campaign with XMM-Newton started, which continues up to Nov. 10
(vsnet-campaign-blazar 340).

V477 Sct (RA = 18h38m43s, Dec = -12d16'.3)
The nova is gradually fading. K. Nakajima reported V=13.62 on
Oct 24 (vsnet-campaign-nova 1769, 1770, 1771, 1772).
SN 2005gl (RA = 00h49m50s.12, Dec = +32d16'56".1)
The object remains ~16.5C (vsnet-campaign-nova 1769, 1772).
V476 Sct (RA = 18h32m04s.75, Dec = -06d43'34".3)
The nova is gradually fading. K. Nakajima reported V=13.71 on
Oct 24 (vsnet-campaign-nova 1769, 1770, 1771, 1772).
V1663 Aql (RA = 19h05m12s.50, Dec = +05d14'12".0)
The nova is gradually fading. K. Nakajima reported Rc=15.27
on Oct 24 (vsnet-campaign-nova 1769, 1772)
