According to ASAS3:

U Men is located at 04:09:35.9 -81:51:17 J2000
and shows a fairly regular light curve with period about 400 days.

Looking at the d-scale AAVSO preliminary chart, it looks like the
wrong star is identified.  U Men is the bright star to the west.
