Dear All,
the CBAT's TOCP shows this object:
http://www.cbat.eps.harvard.edu/unconf/followups/J18250198+2731537.html
to date, a spectroscopical observation is missing.
I see that there is a NOMAD entry about 2" off in RA (with
almost coincident declination), so I was wondering if the
reported suspect is a SN or a different outbursting object.
Of course, the NOMAD entry can be a HII knot in the hosting
galaxy (or the NOMAD source astrometry can be contaminated
by a HII region), unfortunately I cannot check this in
detail right now. It looks like that there is a difference
in magnitude between the PSN and the NOMAD entry of about 6
mags.

A few days ago, the transient was around mag. 16.2,
unfiltered:
Best
Gianluca
