OT J102842.9-081927: SU UMa-type dwarf nova with a ultrashort period?
Greg Bolt has reported time-resolved photometry of this transient.
Superhumps with a mean amplitude of 0.11 mag were clearly present.
The period was 0.0381(2) d! Although the double-wave modulations
with a period of 0.076 d is not excluded, the hump profile favors
a shorter period. This detection would make OT J102842.9-081927
an object analogous to EI Psc (Psh = 0.0463 d) and V485 Cen (Psh = 0.421 d),
or even outbursting AM CVn-type objects. Further continuous observations
as well as spectroscopic determination of the type are strongly encouraged.
