[vsnet-outburst 7060] V503 Cyg likely superoutburst

   The SU UMa-type dwarf nova V503 Cyg is undergoing an outburst.
The current outburst may be rather unusual in its relative
faintness (for a superoutburst).  The true maximum (and the
subsequent evolution) may have been missed or poorly recorded.
We should have seen one or two superoutbursts in earlier months
in this year, but there have only been sporadic outburst
observations reaching mag 13-14; they may have been superoutbursts
but the lack of later follow-up observations makes it difficult
to classify each outburst (rather unprecedented for such
a well-known object).
