TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 35967 SUBJECT: GRB 240320A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/03/20 17:40:23 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM <do_not_reply@GIOC.nsstc.nasa.gov> The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 17:29:47 UT on 20 Mar 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240320A (trigger 732648592.559252 / 240320729). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 150.8, Dec = 63.4 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 10h 03m, 63d 23'), with a statistical uncertainty of 14.5 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 55.0 degrees. The skymap can be found here: https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/FTP/fermi/data/gbm/triggers/2024/bn240320729/q...
