Regarding the recent SDSS CVs,

Inight, K.; Gaensicke, B.; Breedt, E.; et al., 2023, A catalogue of cataclysmic variables from 20 years of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey with new classifications, periods, trends and oddities 2023arXiv230406749I

is very noisy in classification of dwarf novae. They give too many "WZ Sge:" (there are only few "SU UMa:"). Some objects were given "WZ Sge:" even though there have been multiple outbursts in recent years. They probably classified almost short-Porb objects as WZ Sge: I would recommend you to check past activities in adopting their classifications.
