Subject: Possible LMC nova

Hola everyone -

There is a possible nova in the LMC at (2000) 5h 10.6m, - 69d 13'. This
I found on two films taken on November 26.164 UT using a 0.2m Schmidt
camera plus Kodak TP film, no filter. Its magnitude is approximately 11.5.
It seems to be present at about mag 12.8 on a film taken Nov. 22.065.
Nothing brighter than 13th magnitude appears at this position on earlier
photographs, the most recent taken on Nov. 20, 2005. The candidate is near
the compact cluster NGC 1856.

All the best to all, Bill Liller
