[vsnet-alert 9018] SW UMa superoutburst, growth of superhumps

   SW UMa superoutburst continues.  Time-resolved CCD photometry
by the VSOLJ members suggest that the growth of superhumps
was relatively slow (amplitude yet as small as 0.05 mag on Sep. 18,
growth to 0.1 mag on Sep. 19).  If this observation reflects the
true growth of superhumps, the delay of growth (5-6 d) is
comparable to some of WZ Sge-type stars.  With the existence
of infrequent 9-th mag superoutbursts, SW UMa may occasionally
share some properties common to WZ Sge-type dwarf novae.
Further observations are strongly encouraged.
