VX For: new SU UMa-type dwarf nova!

Chris Stockdale has reported observations on Sep. 15.
The data clearly show the presence of superhumps (unlikely early
superhumps) with amplitudes of 0.1 mag. The period is around
1.5 hour. The profile of the superhumps suggest that either
the superhumps are still evolving or are already decaying.
Unless Stubbings missed the early part of the outburst,
the former possibility is more likely. The emergence of superhumps
at this (supposedly early) stage would suggest a more ordinary
SU UMa-type dwarf nova rather than an extreme WZ Sge-type like object.
Further observations are strongly encouraged.
Since the precise coordinates have not been yet available, astrometry
is also wanted.
