     For what it's worth, the type M9 is from Jack MacConnell's
southern far-red spectral survey.  It is based on plates taken
with the Curtis Schmidt at Cerro Tololo.  The plate that this
star was classified on was taken 1972 Apr 18.  It may be too much
to extrapolate the phase of the lightcurve that far back.
