[vsnet-alert 15474] New bright CV in Auriga MASTER OT J064725.70+491543.9 (13.2m)

Pavel Balanutsa has found a very bright optical transient on 2013 Mar.
07 MASTER-Amur survey images. The discovery was reported in ATel
#4871, see <http://www.astronomerstelegram.org/?read=4871>.

This is the 5th brightest dwarf nova among more than 110 CVs
discovered by MASTER so far.

The object has quiescent counterparts in several catalogs:

Previous outbursts were observed by Palomar/NEAT on 2003 Jan. 08-10
and by Catalina Sky Survey on 2007 Oct. 10 (14.1m). MASTER-Amur had
also observed the star in outburst on 2012 Aug. 20.756 UT (13.9m), but
on a single image only, and that outburst was missed (two detections
are required for a real transient). Star was also bright on 1993 Dec.
10 blue POSS-II plate (USNO-B value of B2=17.07 was measured from the
1990 Feb. 15 plate at quiescence).

The object may be a new UGSU variable. Photometric time series are encouraged!
