According to the cvnet message, Tonny Vanmunster made a ~5 hour
photometric run of the new variable near M27.

The resultant light curve showed modulations with amplitudes
of 0.2-0.3 mag, and a slowly fading trend. There was no clear
superhump signal. As judged from his statement, the semi-
periodic variations seem to reflect slow QPOs (quasi-periodic
oscillations).

This observation seems to more strongly support the CV-type
classification rather than other types of more slowly varying
(usual) variable stars.
