Standstill in CR Boo
Using ATLAS forced photometry (Tonry et al. 2018;
Shingles et al. 2021) and observations reported to VSNET,
I found that CR Boo was almost constant between 2022 May and
early July. A faint state without a dwarf nova outburst
(around 17 mag) followed. The former appears to be
a true standstill without low-amplitude oscillations.
The latter may have reflected a lower mass-transfer rate,
but the duration was too short to be recognized as
a VY Scl-type fading episode. The object currently appears
to show dwarf nova outbursts.
