Jose Ripero has reported (on vsobs share, May 7) that the UGWZ star PR Her is in outburst.
HERPR 20220507.9597 13.6 OJR Active
Since its discovery in 1951 by Hoffmeister (from a photographic plate) the only major outburst to have been covered well occurred in November 2011. Since then there have been several faint detections (below mag 15) reported to the AAVSO database (the last one being in June 2020 at 16.7V by Roger Pickard). The quiescent magnitude is around 21.0.
Confirmation is urgently requested.
