TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 41105 SUBJECT: GRB 250717A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 25/07/17 03:58:51 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM do_not_reply@GIOC.nsstc.nasa.gov
The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
At 03:48:11 UT on 17 Jul 2025, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 250717A (trigger 774416896.059134 / 250717158).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 22.9, Dec = 3.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 01h 31m, 3d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 2.9 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 60.0 degrees.
