TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36616 SUBJECT: GRB 240604A: Fermi GBM Final Localization DATE: 24/06/05 04:47:13 GMT FROM: Cori Fletcher at USRA cfletcher@usra.edu
The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
"At 22:28:29.27 UT on 04 June 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240604A (trigger 739232914/240604936).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 127.88, Dec = 74.38 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 8h 31m, +74d 22'), with a statistical uncertainty of 2.07 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 144 degrees.
