ASASSN-22ak period
Josch Hambsch has reported additional data with
a higher cadence. Although the period is not directly
apparent to the eyes, a period analysis using all
the data appears to give a consistent period of
0.04128(4) d (amplitude 0.06 mag, slower rise and
steeper fade). This period is the same as reported
in 2022 Dec. (vsnet-alert 27243). The double period
appears to be excluded by the rapid fading in 2022.
The small amplitude may have been due to observations
more than 10 d after the peak.
I suspect that this object is an EI Psc star from
this period. The outburst behavior is very unusual.
