TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 39225 SUBJECT: GRB 250208A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 25/02/08 05:14:47 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM do_not_reply@GIOC.nsstc.nasa.gov
The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB
At 05:03:59 UT on 8 Feb 2025, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 250208A (trigger 760683844.557836 / 250208211).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 191.4, Dec = -11.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 12h 45m, -11d 48'), with a statistical uncertainty of 6.8 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 39.0 degrees.
