TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 37101 SUBJECT: GRB 240807B: Fermi GBM Final Localization DATE: 24/08/08 14:20:13 GMT FROM: sumanbala2210@gmail.com
The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB
"At 22:04:13.59 UT on 07 August 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240807B (trigger 744761058/240807920).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 297.35, Dec = -42.71 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 19h 49m, -42d 42'), with a statistical uncertainty of 7.82 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 64 degrees.
