TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36376 SUBJECT: GRB 240502C: Fermi GBM Final Localization DATE: 24/05/02 23:07:37 GMT FROM: sumanbala2210@gmail.com
The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB
"At 21:45:04.75 UT on 02 May 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240502C (trigger 736379109/240502906).
The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 166.88, Dec = 66.30 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 11h 7m, +66d 17'), with a statistical uncertainty of 8.19 degrees.
The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 23 degrees.
