[vsnet-campaign-dn 16173] MASTER OT J144248.29+673944.7: new SU UMa-type dwarf nova

Dear colleagues, I have been collecting unfiltered CCD observations of MASTER OT J144248.29+673944.7 over multiple nights at CBA Extremadura Observatory, using a 0.40-m f/5.1 telescope and SX-46 CCD camera under (mostly) clear skies. The collected light curves did not show obvious periodic modulations, with the exception of last night Dec 10/11, 2021. Regular superhumps with an amplitude of 0.25 mag are clearly visible, establishing MASTER OT J144248.29+673944.7 as a new SU UMa-type dwarf nova. A period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle, Generalized-Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso 3.0), yields a combined superhump period of 0.0559 +/- 0.0006d. The object was at mag CV = 15.8 on Dec 11th. I will send my observations to AAVSO, CBA and VSNET for further analysis. TU Men: no superhumps? Josch Hambsch have been observing this target. Although some variations were present, no large-amplitude superhumps have been recorded. The current outburst appears to be a long normal outburst.

ZTF J210411.01-010202.3 = Gaia21fhx: superoutburst of AM CVn star? Josch Hambsch have reported observations. The object gradually faded from Nov. 28 to Dec. 4, then followed by sudden fading by 1.8 mag on the next night. This fading rate is too large for a hydrogen-rich dwarf nova. This object may be an AM CVn star (or EI Psc star) and further observations are encouraged.

MASTER OT J030227.28+191754.5: period of early superhumps Kyoto U team, Itoh-san, Kiyota-san, Tamas Tordai, Osaka Kyoiku U team, Josch Hambsch and Tonny Vanmunster have reported observations. The period of early superhumps is 0.05985(3) d (full amplitude 0.03 mag). During the rising phase, this period was not detected.

TCP J20441708-2037591: new SU UMa-type dwarf nova Josch Hambsch, Itoh-san and Kiyota-san have reported observations. According to the data by Hambsch, this object started to show superhumps on Nov. 30. Due to the short visibility in the evening sky, the superhump period has not been yet determined.
