[vsnet-campaign-dn 16258] ASASSN-22bs: periods of superhumps and early superhumps (WZ Sge star)
by Taichi Kato 18 Feb '22

18 Feb '22
ASASSN-22bs: periods of superhumps and early superhumps (WZ Sge star) Kyoto U team, Kiyota-san, Itoh-san, Tonny Vanmunster, Josch Hambsch, Stephen Brincat and Berto Monard have reported observations. The superhump period has been determined to be 0.05710(7) d. By using this identification, the period of early superhumps has been determined to be 0.05630(3) d (full amplitude 0.025 mag). The object is established to be a WZ Sge star.

[vsnet-campaign-dn 16256] ASASSN-22bs: new SU UMa (likely WZ Sge) star
by Taichi Kato 18 Feb '22

18 Feb '22
ASASSN-22bs: new SU UMa (likely WZ Sge) star According to the most recent data by Josch Hambsch, ordinary superhumps appeared on Feb. 16. The current period is about 0.06 d (amplitude 0.25 mag). Considering the relatively long waiting time (8 d), this object is likely a borderline WZ Sge/SU UMa system.

[vsnet-campaign-dn 16255] (fwd) ASASSN-18vi/ZTF18abtudfk
by Taichi Kato 17 Feb '22

(fwd) ASASSN-18vi/ZTF18abtudfk From: Jan van Roestel <jcjvanroestel(a)gmail.com> Subject: [vsnet-outburst 28357] ASASSN-18vi/ZTF18abtudfk Date: Sat, 12 Feb 2022 19:31:33 -0800 On the morning of Feb 12, we obtained a lightcurve of=20 ASASSN-18vi/ZTF18abtudfk with KPED (https://kped.org/).=C2=A0 We used g-b= and=20 and a 10s cadence with a total duration of 1hr. The lightcurve shows a=20 clear periodic signal with a period of 16.3+/-0.2 minutes and an=20 amplitude of 2.2+/-0.7%. This strongly suggests this object is an AM CVn=20 star; likely with an orbital period of 33 minutes. Dr. Jan van Roestel, ZTF-collaboration

[vsnet-campaign-dn 16232] ASASSN-14fe: new SU UMa-type dwarf nova
by Taichi Kato 16 Feb '22

16 Feb '22
ASASSN-14fe: new SU UMa-type dwarf nova Berto Monard have reported observations. The data confirmed long-period (more than 0.08 d) superhumps. Re-analysis of the 2020 data yielded the most likely period of 0.08908(6) d (allowing one-day aliases) and an amplitude of 0.12 mag. The 2020 data were also obtained by Berto Monard. Let's hope that the correct alias will be established during the current superoutburst.
