This outburst is a great opportunity to determine its outburst nature
as well as derive its superhump periods.
Time-resolved observations are encouraged.

ASASSN-24gv - new SU UMa-type dwarf nova
ASASSN-24gv is a new CV candidate discovered by ASAS-SN at 15.25 mag
on 2024-11-25.
The quiescence counterpart is the g=22.34(2) star in the YMCA catalog,
thus outburst amplitude is ~7 mag.
Our time-resolved observations at SAAO on 2024-11-28 detected likely
superhumps with a period of ~0.06 d and amplitude of 0.12 mag,
classifying ASASSN-24gv as an SU UMa-type dwarf nova.
Further observations are encouraged to establish its superhump period.
