Our observations were carried out on 2026 Apr 19 18:39 UT, 85.1 hours after the trigger, using stacked images in the J band. We do not detect any counterpart at the position of the optical counterpart (Ducoin et al., GCN 44310; Li et al., GCN 44315; Hua et al., GCN 44318; Lee et al., GCN 44319; Zheng et al., GCN 44321; Martin-Carrillo et al., GCN 44328; Li et al., GCN 44334, He et al. GCN 44336, An et al. GCN 44339, Jelinek et al. GCN 44341; Guziy et al., GCN 44351; Ho et al., GCN 44354), down to a 5-sigma depth of J ~ 18.1 Vega magnitudes. TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 44375 SUBJECT: GRB 260310A: Late-time Chandra X-ray Detection DATE: 26/04/21 10:40:36 GMT FROM: Yu-Han Yang at University of Rome Tor Vergata <yyang(a)roma2.infn.it> Yu-Han Yang (U Rome), Eleonora Troja (U Rome), Yi-Han Iris Yin (HKU), Brendan O’Connor (CMU), Muskan Yadav (U Rome), Niccolo’ Passaleva (U Rome), Roberto Ricci (U Rome) report: We imaged the field of GRB 260310A (Fermi GBM team, GCN 43951,43975; AstroSat CZTI collaboration, GCN 43958) with the Chandra X-ray Observatory via a Director’s Discretionary Time (DDT) request (PI: Yang). Observations started at 2026-04-20T01:47:42 (~41 days after the trigger) using the ACIS-S instrument with a total exposure time of ~5 ks. Three sources are detected within a 1-arcmin radius centered on the optical counterpart (O’Neill et al. 2026, TNS Discovery Report 294132). The target afterglow is clearly identified with 89 counts, while two neighboring sources are marginal contributors, yielding only 5 and 9 counts, respectively. We performed a preliminary spectral analysis of the afterglow in the 0.5–8 keV range, adopting an absorbed power-law model with a fixed galactic absorption (N_H = 2.59e20/cm2) and intrinsic absorption (N_Hz = 1.7e21/cm2). We find a photon index of 2.07 ± 0.25 and a corresponding unabsorbed flux of (5.9+/-0.8)e-13 ergs/cm2/s (0.3-10 keV). Our observations confirm that the X-ray rebrightening (Jayaraman et al., GCN 44234; Waratkar et al.; GCN 44278) is intrinsic to the GRB afterglow and not contributed by nearby sources. Our temporal analysis indicates that the light curve is consistent with a late-time bump which is currently transitioning into a decay phase. We thank the Chandra director, Pat Slane, for awarding discretionary time and the observatory staff for rapidly scheduling these observations. TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 44374 SUBJECT: GRB 260418A: Insight-HXMT/HE detection DATE: 26/04/21 10:34:05 GMT FROM: xueyuan zao <zaoxueyuan(a)gmail.com> Xue-Yuan Zao, Chen-Wei Wang, Cheng-Kui Li, Shao-Lin Xiong, and Chao Zheng (IHEP) report on behalf of the Insight-HXMT team: At 2026-04-18T04:49:35.000 (T0), Insight-HXMT/HE detected a short burst, GRB 260418A, which is also detected by Fermi/GBM (Fermi GBM Team, GCN #44335). The Insight-HXMT/HE light curve mainly consists of a single pulse with a duration (T90) of 0.30 +0.55/-0.10 s. The 1s peak rate, measured from T0-0.475 s, is 361 cnts/sec. Insight-HXMT/HE detected a total of 292 counts from this burst. The Insight-HXMT /HE light curve can be found here: https://www.bursthub.cn//admin/static/hxmtgrb260418A.png All measurements above are made with the CsI detectors of Insight-HXMT/HE operating in the regular mode with the energy range of about 60-900 keV (deposited energy). The observations began on 2026-04-20 at 15:58:17 UT, approximately ~106 hours after the trigger. We obtained a series of 300s exposures in the R filter. The frames were aligned and stacked to improve the signal-to-noise ratio. The optical counterpart (Ducoin et al., GCN 44310; Li et al., GCN 44315; Hua et al., GCN 44318; Lee et al., GCN 44319; Zheng et al., GCN 44321; Martin-Carrillo et al., GCN 44328; Li et al., GCN 44334; He et al. TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 44369 SUBJECT: GRB 260421C: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 26/04/21 08:35:58 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM <do_not_reply(a)GIOC.nsstc.nasa.gov> The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 08:25:19 UT on 21 Apr 2026, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 260421C (trigger 798452724.59066 / 260421351). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 295.0, Dec = 64.2 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 19h 40m, 64d 12'), with a statistical uncertainty of 3.1 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 59.0 degrees. Malesani (DAWN/NBI and Radboud), report on behalf of the Stargate collaboration: We observed the optical counterpart (He et al., GCN 44363; Sanchez-Alvarez, GCN 44364; Turpin et al., GCN 44365; Wu et al., GCN 44366) of the SVOM and Fermi GRB 260421B (Zhao et al., GCN 44362; Fermi GBM Team, GCN 44360) using the ESO VLT UT3 (Melipal) equipped with the X-shooter spectrograph. Our spectra cover the wavelength range 3000-25000 AA, and consist of 4 exposures of 600 s each. The observation mid time was 05:39 UT on 2026 April 21 (1.42 hr after the SVOM/ECLAIRs trigger). In a 5-s acquisition image (taken 61 min after the SVOM/ECLAIRs trigger), the afterglow is detected with a magnitude r = 20.43 +/- 0.05 AB, calibrated against the single Pan-STARRS object lying in our field of view, and not corrected for Galactic extinction. In a preliminary reduction of the spectra, we detect a continuum over the entire wavelength range. At the blue edge of the spectrum, we identify a broad trough at around 3786 AA, likely due to H I Lyman-alpha. Multiple absorption lines are also detected, which we interpret as due to, among others, S II, Si II, O I, Si II*, C II, C II*, Si IV, C IV, Fe II, Fe II*, Mg II, all at a common redshift z = 2.115. We consider this to be the redshift of GRB 260421B. We acknowledge the excellent expert support from the observing staff in Paranal, in particular Francisco Caceres and Matias Jones. The observations began at zenith distance = 56 deg. The sun altitude is -28.9 deg. MASTER-OAFA robotic telescope located in Argentina (OAFA observatory of San Juan National University) started inspect of the Fermi GRB 260421B errorbox 867 sec after notice time and 900 sec after trigger time at 2026-04-21 04:28:21 UT, with upper limit up to 20.2 mag. The observations began at zenith distance = 21 deg. The sun altitude is -70.7 deg. The galactic latitude b = 45 deg., longitude l = 298 deg.
