The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 90.5, Dec = -40.4 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 06h 01m, -40d 23'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.8 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 18.0 degrees. TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 45194 SUBJECT: IceCube-260722A - IceCube observation of a high-energy neutrino candidate track-like event DATE: 26/07/22 08:50:23 GMT FROM: cristobal.zilleruelo.canas(a)desy.de The IceCube Collaboration (http://icecube.wisc.edu/) reports: On 26-07-22 at 06:58:22.82 UT IceCube detected a track-like event with a moderate probability of being of astrophysical origin. The event was selected by the ICECUBE_Astrotrack_BRONZE alert stream. Documentation regarding the alert streams and their astrophysical purity can be found here: https://gcn.nasa.gov/missions/icecube. This alert has an estimated false alarm rate of 1.4973 events per year due to atmospheric backgrounds. The IceCube detector was in a normal operating state at the time of detection. The probability distribution of the true neutrino direction, allowing the extraction of precise 90% containment regions around the best-fit direction, is now available for revised reconstruction of high-energy track alerts. The corresponding sky map is distributed as a FITS file and follows the explicit naming convention IceCube-YYMMDDX, where YYMMDD indicates the date of the event and X is a letter distinguishing multiple alerts on the same day. The download link is provided through the GCN schema distributed via Kafka. Waratkar (Caltech) report on behalf of the NuSTAR Search for INteresting Gamma-ray Signals (SINGS) working group: The NuSTAR SINGS working group reports the detection of prompt emission from the long-duration GRB 260721A in both the NuSTAR CsI anti-coincidence shields. Details of the search algorithm will be described in a future paper. The NuSTAR SINGS algorithm, triggered at 2026-07-21 01:17:08 UTC, shows a detection of GRB 260721A, also detected by Konus-Wind (Svinkin, priv. Comm & GCN notices). The NuSTAR CsI shield data are recorded at 1 Hz. We detect a burst lasting for about 10-s. Offline analysis indicates that the burst first appeared in the NuSTAR data 6 to 7-s prior to the trigger time (with a non-barycenter corrected, offline T0 of roughly 2026-07-21T01:17:02). The peak count rate is ~2000-cps with a baseline rate of ~1000-cps during this time period. We do not see any evidence in the signal above 100 keV in the CZT detectors. Cline, on behalf of the Konus-Wind team, report: The long-duration GRB 260714B (Fermi-GBM detection: The Fermi GBM team, GCN 45161; Fermi-LAT detection: The Fermi GBM team, GCN 45162; AstroSat-CZTI detection: Pathak et al., GCN 45163; GECAM-B detection: Ren et al., GCN 45174; SVOM-GRM detection: Ren et al., GCN 45176; Insight-HXMT-HE detection: Luo et al., GCN 45188) triggered Konus-Wind at T0=66206.858 s UT (18:23:26.858). The burst light curve shows a multipeaked structure which starts at ~T0-0.4 s and has a total duration of ~15.5 s. The emission is seen up to 2 MeV. The Konus-Wind light curve of this GRB is available at http://www.ioffe.ru/LEA/GRBs/GRB260714_T66206/ As observed by Konus-Wind, the burst had the total fluence of 3.09(-0.20,+0.23)x10^-5 erg/cm2, and the 64-ms peak flux, measured from T0+2.640 s, of 1.39(-0.15,+0.16)x10^-5 erg/cm2/s (both in the 20 keV - 10 MeV energy range). The time-averaged spectrum of the burst (measured from T0 to T0+15.360 s) is best fit in the 20 keV - 10 MeV range by the GRB (Band) model with the following parameters: the low-energy photon index alpha = -1.07(-0.04,+0.04), the high energy photon index beta = -3.61(-6.39,+0.71), the peak energy Ep = 595(-44,+55) keV (chi2 = 122/94 dof). The spectrum near the maximum count rate (measured from T0+0.256 to T0+7.168 s) is best fit in the 20 keV - 10 MeV range by the GRB (Band) model with the following parameters: the low-energy photon index alpha = -0.94(-0.05,+0.05), the high energy photon index beta = -2.97(-1.36,+0.38), the peak energy Ep = 605(-51,+56) keV (chi2 = 66/79 dof). Palmerio (CEA/Irfu) report on behalf of the SVOM/VT team. SVOM/VT performed observations with automatic slew to the field of X-ray transient sb26071506 triggered by SVOM/ECLAIRs (Cangemi et al., GCN 45169). The observations started at 2026-07-15T16:28:06 UTC, i.e., 327 sec post trigger in the VT_B (400-650 nm) and VT_R (650-1000 nm) channels simultaneously. The high-proper motion star V* AT Mic located within the errorbox of and MXT and ECLAIRs (Cangemi et al., GCN 45169) was saturated in both channels of VT. We performed photometry using the method described in Li et al. (2026, arXiv:2604.24266). Its brightness decreased in both channels, especially in VT_B band decayed from ~10.9 mag to ~11.2 mag in about 1.4 hours. This fading confirms this ECLAIRs trigger is related to the stellar flare. The Space Variable Objects Monitor (SVOM) is a China-France joint mission led by the Chinese National Space Administration (CNSA, China), National Center for Space Studies (CNES, France) and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS, China), which is dedicated to observing gamma-ray bursts and other transient phenomena in the energetic universe. VT was jointly developed by Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics (XIOPM), CAS and National astronomical observatories (NAOC), CAS. We observed with the Goodman High Throughput Spectrograph (GHTS) in imaging mode at a midpoint of UT 2026-07-11 10:15:00 corresponding to 5.88 days after the trigger and with the Gemini Multi-object Spectrograph (GMOS) mounted on Gemini south at UT 2026-07-08 09:08:46 corresponding to 2.83 days after the trigger. The acquisition images consisted of a sequence of 20 s and 30 s exposures in the r-band. We acquired 4 x 900 s spectroscopic observations using the B480 grating centered at 520 nm. Data were reduced using DRAGONS. The spectrum is host dominated and shows no prominent transient features. We identify several narrow absorption and emission features at a common redshift of z = 0.1840 +/- 0.0005. Motivated by the photometric and spectroscopic non-detections, we conducted more careful analysis of the images taken on the night of 2026-07-07, detailed in Freeburn et al., GCN 45105. Despite a convincing detection in the coadded image, we found that the source was not present when differencing the individual GMOS exposures. Similarly, in the SOAR data, the source was not reliably recovered when varying the subtraction parameters. We therefore conclude that the source is likely spurious. Pathak et.al., GCN#45163), GECAM-B (Yang-Zhao Ren et.al., #45174) and SVOM/GRM (Yang-Zhao Ren et.al., GCN#45176). The Insight-HXMT/HE light curve mainly consists of multiple pulses with a T90 of 10.88 +0.02/-0.04 s. The 1s peak rate, measured from T0+0.13 s, is 8893 cnts/sec. Insight-HXMT/HE detected a total of 36543 counts from this burst. The HXMT/HE light curve can be found here: https://www.bursthub.cn/gcn/2026/hxmtgrb260714B.png All measurements above are made with the CsI detectors of Insight-HXMT/HE operating in the regular mode with the energy range of about 60-900 keV (deposited energy). Only gamma-rays with energy greater than about 200 keV can penetrate the spacecraft and leave signals in the CsI detectors installed inside of the telescope. Insight-HXMT is the first Chinese space X-ray telescope, which was funded jointly by the China National Space Administration (CNSA) and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Sun (NAO, CAS) on behalf of the Einstein Probe (EP) team: EP-FXT performed a follow-up observation of GRB 260718A detected by SVOM/ECLAIRs (Antier et al., GCN 45177), which also triggered Fermi-GBM (Holzmann Airasca et al., GCN 45181). The follow-up observation started at 2026-07-18T12:09:38 (UTC), about 53 min after the SVOM-ECLAIRs trigger, with a total exposure time of around 6.2 ks. An uncatalogued source was found within the ECLAIRs error circle. The position of the source is at R.A., Dec. = 37.3004, -56.1050 deg (J2000) with an uncertainty of 10 arcsec (radius, 90% C.L. statistical and systematic). The average unabsorbed flux is 2.16(+0.62/-0.33) x 10^(-12) erg/s/cm^2 in the 0.5-10 keV energy band. Launched on January 9, 2024, EP is a space X-ray observatory to monitor the soft X-ray sky with X-ray follow-up capability (Yuan et al. 2022, Handbook of X-ray and Gamma-ray Astrophysics).
